At Children’s Choice Early Education Centre in Heritage Park, we provide exceptional early education and care for children from birth to 5 years. Our centre offers a nurturing environment designed to foster growth, learning, and development in every child.

    • Muni (Kangaroo): For infants from birth to 14 months, offering a cosy, secure environment.
 
    • Guran (Possum): For children aged 15 to 36 months, with activities to stimulate early development.
 
    • Borobi (Koala): For 3-year-olds, focusing on preparing them for the next stage of their education.

    • Muran (Emu): For children aged 4 and older to build foundational skills before primary school.

Swimming Lessons for Added Fun and Development

In addition to our regular activities, we offer swimming lessons for children over 3 years old. These lessons, available for an additional fee, take place on Fridays during school terms and help develop essential water safety skills while adding extra fun to their week.

Yes, we offer provide flexible hours of care such as 12, 10 and 9 hour days, to fit in with your own schedule. For example, if you do a 10 hour day then you can have your own 10 hours time slots within our opening hours. This will save you hundreds of dollars per fortnight. 

  • How do I enroll my child? Start by booking a tour or calling our centre. We’ll guide you through the enrolment process step by step.

 

  • What are your fees? Fees vary based on age group and schedule. For the most accurate pricing, please contact us directly or view our fee schedule online.

 

  • Is government childcare subsidy available? Yes, eligible families may access subsidies. Child care Subsidy may be applied to reduce your fees. (conditions apply). We’re happy to help guide you through the application process.

Yes, we do and it is child care subsidy (CCS) which families need to apply for their own hours and percentage as a rebate on the fees. You out of pocket expenses will be the gap after this rebate is applied. We are able to help with this if you require assistance. Please see the links below to help you with more information on the CCS and to check with the calculator.

Our centres opening times from Monday to Friday:

 

Raceview 6.30am to 6.30pm and Heritage Park from 6am to 6pm.

We welcome children  from birth to 5 years olds. Plus we cater for primary aged school children up to 12 years old for before and after school care and vacation care. 

No need! We provide nutritious, healthy meals with no artificial colours or flavours, freshly prepared each day by our in-house chef.

 

Included meals:

  • Gluten intolerance or gluten sensitivity diet.
  • Lactose intolerance diet.
  • Vegetarian diet.
  • Vegan diet.
  • Other dietary needs – please speak to the management
  • We follow a seasonal 4-week rotating menu with cooked meals each day. We work closely with families to accommodate food allergies, dietary needs and religious beliefs—please speak with our team during enrolment.

Yes, nappies are included in the daily fee, along with wipes, and nappy rash cream for your convenience. We change nappies every 2 hours but do a spot check every hour.

Yes! As a Sun Smart Centre, we supply sunscreens for all children. We check the daily SunSmart Global UV app levels are safe and equipment temperatures before going outside to the play.

Yes, we offer a free bus service for pick-up and drop-off at home or school for:

  • Long day care
  • Vacation care
  • Before and after school care

  • In Raceview centre we have the free pick up and drop off bus service the long day care and school care for the following suburbs: Raceview, Ipswich, Eastern Heights, Silkstone, Flinders View, Churchill, Booval and Yamanto.

 

  • At the Heritage Park centre we have a free bus service for the following areas: Heritage Park, regents Park, Browns Plains, Crestmead, Park ridge, Marsden, Hillcrest, Boronia Heights and Waterford West.

Absolutely! We offer a range of free programs, including:

    • Weekly music program led by a university-qualified instructor (Master’s degree)
    • Weekly sports program
    • Yoga and dance classes
    • Incursions – Sea Life
    • Dental health checks every 6 months and for Dental Health Week
    • TOTS – Allied Health nurses at Heritage Park only
    • Swimming lessons (charges apply)

Our team includes qualified educators who deliver high-quality childcare programs.

  • What health and safety measures do you follow? We adhere to all local health guidelines, including daily cleaning routines, illness protocols, and secure drop-off/pick-up procedures.

 

  • Are staff trained in first aid and CPR? Absolutely. All staff maintain up-to-date certifications in paediatric first aid and CPR.

 

  • What about child protection training? Yes, every educator has child protection training each year for peace of mind. Sometimes it is twice per year depending on the needs of the educators. The child protection is also covered in staff meetings during the year as well. 

 

  • What’s your policy if a child becomes ill? Parents will be contacted immediately and asked to pick up the child. We recommend children be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning.

Yes, we offer vacation care during school holidays and pupil free days.

Yes! We provide a Queensland Government Approved Kindergarten program for pre-prep children, led by a 4-year university-trained teacher.

Yes, we provide both before and after school care services for the local schools.
