Our Journey
Fully Licensed Childcare Using the National Framework
Children’s Choice is fully licensed under the Child Care Act 2002 and Child Care Regulations 2003, adhering to strict standards for activities, staff-to-child ratios, and staff qualifications. We invite parents to actively participate in their child’s educational journey by offering insights on our daycare programs and accessing real-time observations and planning through our app.
We are guided by the nationally approved learning frameworks in operation under the National Quality Framework, such as the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), My Time Our Place and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) for our programming and curriculum. Our educators regularly evaluate educational programs, goals, and philosophy to extend the interests of the children through their inquiries and play. Children’s interests are encouraged and supported to assist and scaffold them in their individual learning and developmental journey.

Rosa McDonald
Rosa McDonald has 21 years’ experience in education. She taught in primary and secondary schools for five years before becoming Owner of Children’s Choice Early Education, which she has led for 16 years across daycare centres in Heritage Park and Raceview.
She holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education, a Bachelor of Business, and a Graduate Diploma of Communication Practice. Rosa is committed to high-quality learning, strong leadership, and open, respectful communication with families and staff.
